Lower Division Transfer Student Major Declaration
Transfer students admitted as Undeclared with fewer than 60 units earned will be required to meet the Major Selection Criteria listed below in order to declare the intended major. Students are advised to consult with their academic advisor to determine eligibility and then submit a Major Change form. The course criteria can be met through a combination of approved transfer credit and courses taken at UC Merced. Students should consult the catalog for their year of entry for a list of available emphasis tracks within the majors.
